Dammitt! Somebody stole my old man trick, improved it, and stamped a patent on it. I need to get theses old bastard tricks on paper.

Yeah and they are making a killing as well. Was like $39 bucks. I know Lisle is pretty quality though.

Good job on the bolt. That's a damn good feeling to get a stripped bolt out. Been there so many times.....I remeber the first time I stripped the head of a bolt....I thought it was the end of the world.

^ I have it wrapped up now to keep the flash rust at a minimum. I'll take more pictures when I go to clean and take it to machine shop

Well. It's been really f**king hot out and is making me second guess my a/c delete. Lmao! Going to have to do some homework and see how big a pain in the ass keeping by a/c system will be.

Just a quick update. Have some stuff to take care of around the house. Repair and paint wood fence. (320ft) Paint shed which is keeping all the parts I'm taking off of the gt.
So no time to work in car till next week. Got to upgrade my Miter saw and tool collection a bit though.

I've had the framing nailer so I got to add the 16 gauge finesh nailer. Waiting on the release of the Brad nailer as well.

Congratulations on the new tools!

My youngest daughters fiancee just bought one of the new 60V Dewalt chain saws and I was amazed at the power it has. A little expensive still but I will go for one next and never buy a 2 cycle chain saw again.

Not sure if I will save any weight with aftermarket mounts but just as a reference.

Thanks, I'm trying to go all cordless as far as my tools go. Way more convenient this way. It's a higher upfront cost for sure, but I think it will be worth it in the end. Having no airlines or extension cords is really nice on the job site.

Hello you can save a few ounces by getting rid of those shiny motovator dog tags you boot!!! Lol jk
I just went through all the same shit reducing weight in my 07..... but being 6'5 280lbs and with the roll cage everything cancels out. I'm thinking about getting one of those giant ricer wings and mounting it backwards on my hood...maybe some up force will lighten it up lmao

Spent a little time on the GT today. No more electrical in engine bay. Tackling the abs next.
