In a word, "no". It's a DOT 4 and it's compatible with other DOT 4's. The boiling point of the resulting mix will be the lowest of the two fluids in the mix (or higher), so if you're mixing one high boiling fluid with another, even though the manufacturer's will advise against it, the result won't be a problem.

When my clutch was replaced at a local Ford Dealer this week I asked to make sure they used DOT 4 brake fluid. The bill included a charge for YNEZ-19542-AA brake fluid and a little research revealed it is DOT 4 and per Ford terms "Super" DOT 4.

I was pleasantly surprised. :)

Should I be concerned about mixing this with my ATE TYP 200?
