Damn errr body got black cf5's now lol. wtf. Anybody else get the 11 inch rear?

I do run the 18"X11" rear. Imo with this type of gray a black wheel is the only way to go. And as Im not really a fan of the "euro" mesh style wheels I went with a 5 spoke. Im glad I did as I thino they came out great.

One quick pic w my phone after I had my new 18" CF5's installed. They came out vreat although ill be swapping my front 275 45 for a new set of 275 40 to get a better diameter match to my rear 295 40 18 Falken Road Race tires...that I absolutely LOVE btw.

Looks pretty diesel. Are you lowered at all?

Are you sure those are titanium? The "titanium" ones have a clear coated polished aluminum face. Yours appear to be painted. Here are my titaniums in comparison:

Kbreeze that finish is sick! does that finish cost any extra compared to the others?

Thanks, yeah I think its like $30-$40 more per wheel, but it really depends on where you buy it. I've seen Howy Industries for example sell them on ebay for the same price as others ($1345/set for four 18x10's)

According to Howey Ind. yours are brushed titanium which have the polished clearcoat finish. Mine are the titanium powder coat finish. The tires in those pics are 285/40R18 rear and 275/45R18 front Conti DWs. I have since gone back to Goodyear F1 Supercars, 255/45 front 285/40 rear. It looks much better.

Thanks for the clarification. Forgestar is not good with spelling out their color options.

You swapped out the conti's because you didn't like the way they looked? What did you do with them?

The Conti's only have about 300 miles on them. I knew the fronts were a little bigger (.7 in.) but on the car looked like a lot more. They have a rounder shoulder too.

what's taking so long?

lol good question, I've just been lazy to be honest. I haven't even washed my car in like a month! Just wanted to get it washed & waxed up nice and try and take some decent pics at some location other then my driveway.

With that said, I can tell you it's nothing that impressive, particularly when compared to some of the great photoshoots you can find on this site. Main reason being is the car is not slammed & they are just 18's. The prokit just doesn't get these cars that low. It basically just looks like how it should have come from the factory. With 18's for it to look impressive in pictures you need to go at least sportlines low in my opinion. But my setup is much more about practicality then looks. Otherwise I'd still have my 20" Boss 338's on.

With all that said i will eventually post some pics, I promise :)
