You would probably do better posting this to the dob site. I followed the Roush instructions and mounted driver side front bumper area. We fabbed up a bracket with rubber insert to make a mount.

It depends on what HEX and pump you are running. Variations can drive location to driver's side, passenger side, or front center (near horn) location.

If going hard-core...pay up and buy a Mezeire.

+1 we even have a tank in the works that mounts the Meziere pump to a tank that goes where the OEM battery goes.

No, the pan was updated to have a rib welded down the center to change its resonance frequency to address the issues some customers were having.

I am running the pan on my car and I do not hear the howl, BUT I also do not lug my car around at very low RPM...

We did compare the 2nd gen pan to the 1st gen pan in regards to noise, you can hear a slight difference between mine (2nd gen) and 908ssp (1st gen).

Did you solid mount your pump? If so, that's going to be noisy..

It's got a rubber bushing between the frame and mount. Can't hear the pump anyhow over the HE fans, now those are loud.

I upgraded to the 2nd gen pan and it definitely fixed the howling.
