Quick question for you 13-14 guys out there.

Are you guys having any issues with water from washing or weather going straight onto your intake filters?

If so, what is the fix for this besides keeping the stock airbox or going with an enclosed CAI unit, or perhaps are we shit outta luck?

Thanks fellas :hi:

I think C&L redesigned their box to include a little lip to catch the water, too. Steeda argued with everyone a while ago and won't change their design, allowing the water to fall on the filter.

I've run the AEM intake for at least 20K miles and have had no issues with it. I have an '11 GT, however.

Really, an intake doesn't make much difference at all. I noticed slightly better throttle response, but that's it. A tune makes a much bigger difference.

Airaid if you must have an intake, but they aren't necessary. Most/all of the power increase comes from the tune
