Is this supposed to look like this?

I just bought the motorized flip down license plate holder. I pulled it out of the box and it looks like this wire is broken.





It looks like this is the wire that pulls the plate frame to retract. It looks like it's broken. Can somebody from AM contact me?

pretty sure that cable needs to be connected

I'm surprised this happened! Looks like the main cable wasn't secured properly. It must have slipped through the cracks at the manufacturer. Sorry about the inconvenience of setting up a return! I'm glad our Mustang Expert took care of you though.
