MSD is ignition cut. SCT is fuel cut which is not as safe.
After doing some research, I think which one is safer is debatable. What kind of limiter is used on the GT500? Fuel cut or ignition cut? All the stuff I have read about "going lean" with fuel cut has said it doesn't happen that way, fuel cut is fuel cut meaning no fuel is put in the cylinder at all. So therefore, no combustion occurs.
