My new 5.0 ran a 13.36 bone stock.

I was one of the white 5.0 at Fontucky yesterday.
This was my first time at the track with the new 5.0
I was embarrassed by my first pass 14.70@108mph

I expected traction issues on the street tires but nothing this bad.
I launched at around 2500 and slipped the clutch

when I put the power down my tires went up in smoke in 2nd and 3rd gear.
I made adjustments and got better with each pass.

my best was my last of the day 13.17@112mph

I had not been to the track in 10 years so I dont feel to bad

I'll have some ET streets next time and I'm sure I'll see some low to mid 12sec timeslips.

sure was fun meeting some other 2011 owners and having a good time

Congrats on getting 13.17 on street tires. For Fontana that is an accomplishment. I bet with E.T streets you will be in mid 12s.

I am trying to remember the Kona Blue one. What group(s) were you in? I was in groups 1 and 3.

Group 2.

I want to get 13.0 bone stock to the tires before I start modding...let me know when you guys head out to Barona next, I need practice on launching this thing.

On Dec 11 at Barona there is the toys for tots drive and imports/sports compacts vs the world. It doesn't say TNT but I think it is. I know in previous years you bring in a toy and you can race.
