My passanger side air bag lite

I had the inside and out detailed and today I noticed the passanger side air bag lit is on and it won't push in or I can't pull it out. Any ideas?

Won't push in??? If it is on that means no one is in the seat...Your talking about the one on the center by TCS??? Or is it the airbag light on the speedo?

That light does not reset by pushing it in. Do you have something in that seat like your laptop or something? This light is triggered by weight. If you have something in that seat that weighs less than, I think it is 50 lb. That light will come on. It should go off when that item is removed. This is to prevent the tragedy that happens with rear facing child seat in the front seat in the case of an accident.

It's never been on before. It's the button where traction control and 4 way flasher is.

I thought before I turned it on and off, but could be wrong and come to think of it I had 500rds of 45 auto ammo in it going shotting and back. I'll check it again, thanks..
