Well last week I tackled a pretty big project, (for me anyways). Electrical stuff is not my kind of thing. I put the OEM HID's on the car. (thanks SherrodMustang). Also I would like to thank Ron (mustang30212) and Robert (SherrodMustang) for what it seemed like a hundred phone calls and texts lol. But in the end the install was not as bad as i thought it was going to be. I went a head and bought 6k bulbs from HID guy and also a 6k fog light kit from them as well. Heres some before and after pics!

6k bulbs, for some reason the pictures make the lights blue-er than they really are. They are more white than anything.

With fog lights. Same with the fogs the pics make them look blue-er than they really are.

I will say that the 6k bulbs and fog lights are such a big improvement over stock lights and the stock HID bulbs especially on dark roads at night. They seem almost too bright when your driving but i have not been flashed once all week since ive had them in. So they must not be too bad!

Very very very nice, looks good. :highfive:

What improvment the new bulbs made from the stock OEM HID bulbs. Glad it was a easy install and I was able to help with the install and get things going a bit.

Now I just need to tackle my and get them working again... lol.

I recieved the stock harness Monday in the mail and now just waiting on the aftermarket HID kit from Hid Guys to come in. Thanks again so much for sending the stock harness out to me and some instructions of how it was install.

Thanks again man. They are great! Just give me a call if you need any info on installing the stock harness. Oh and I forgot to mention, that extra pin that was in the bag with the harness, was just extra that i had and did not need, so i figured id give it to you just in case you needed it.

So did you swap out the OEM HID bulbs for better ones? The factory HID Blows horribly and I was wondering if that was even possible.

lol, why did you have a tablet pc there?

It had some install instuctions and pics on it and its a hell of alot better than lugging my laptop around.

Yeah I swapped the bulbs out. Every bulb is pretty much changeable. I got them from hidguy.net for $150 for the pair.

No problem, honestly you don't really need the front bumper off to change them out. Seems to be enough room coming down from the hood to change them.

Do you have a link for the lights btw?

Here are the HID bulbs. Just a little note: With these bulbs they do not have the indention that is needed to go into the housing. I put a note when i ordered them to make sure it had it for the car and it was not done. So i just used a dremel and worked perfect.
