oem navi in a shaker1k car

so i know a little bit, i know supposedly if you have the shaker 1k and want to put in the factory nav unit the rear shaker doesn't work anymore. is there anyway to make the navi work with a shaker 1k system? i'm trying to find the eom nav unit for somewhat cheap.

Doubt you will get a good one cheap, but plugs are the same, you will have to get it programed to your vin number to work. I would only buy one made after 2009.

Yes it can be done as i am running it in my 05 with Shaker1000. It had to be programmed by this company in Chicago. Im pretty sure the name of it was Chicago Parts&Sound.

I have the shaker 500, that should just swap right over rigth

why does it have to be reprogrammed?

My bullitt came stock with the nav and all I did was run my own power and ground to the rear amps and tapped into the signal wires from the front amps to the rear. Works perfectly

I put one in my 05 that has a Shaker500...but can't get the Nav function to work.
