Im thinking about painting my headlights when I get home from deployment, Anyone know how to remove te cover to paint the inside of the housing? I want to remove it, paint them, and put the covers, and then pt the cover back on

Very carefully. lol

You will need to heat it up and use a razor to cut through the rtv and gently pry it all apart. Then clean all the old rtv off and use new rtv to seal it back together. It's a huge chore and in't very fun but its doable.

American Muscle also has painted headlights, idk if that is something you would be interested in as an alternative.

That's what I want to know. It doesn't look hand made. It looks very clean.

I wanted to paint the gray interior headlight housings on my HID headlights black to match the car too, but it just seems like quite a hassle. I wish ford would have made them body colored. Just makes the headlights really stand out from the rest of the car and I'm not diggin it..
