Well I haven't really posted my car on here aside from my introduction thread. I figured it's time now that I have some work done to the car. By no means is it 'build thread' material yet, however I wanted to share since I've made some decent strides in the past couple years of ownership.

The car became the Renesis-mobile in October of 2011. It was stock down to the paper filter with only 39K miles. Car was a kind of an odd package from the factory. It's a base GT with the IUP, my color dash, and the 18'' chrome bullet wheels. However it did not have leather or the shaker. Also came with a sweet V6 stripe lol

Here's a virgin photo:

My first modification was axlebacks. I needed to hear that V8 scream. Biggest selling point on the mustang for me was how awesome they can sound. Pypebombs got installed. Then of course the easy mods such as window tint, some LED replacement bulbs inside and out, and some stereo upgrades (stock 4 speaker stereo, is a huge fail).

I had full intention of leaving my car with the above modifications, honestly, forever. That didn't last long. I struck a deal on a JLT intake & UD pulleys for pretty cheap, ordered the SCT tuner same day. Once I installed that, the mod bug bit and this cheap to own weekend car became the bottomless money pit all cars I own seem to turn into.

I bought a CDC spoiler and decklid panel to give the outside some appeal to match the extra performance.

The above 2 photo's were taken October of 2012.

At this point, I had a pretty nice pile of parts building up in my living room, which my gf appreciated. List included longtubes, catless H pipe, CMDP, and other misc goodies.

Around Nov 2012 got all the performance bits installed. Talk about loud, my car woke the dead the first time starting it with longtubes & pipebombs on a 40 degree fall evening.

I was able to find a local deal on some BremmerKraft wheels I loved wrapped in Hankook tires with only a couple thousand miles of use. Bought those and installed them right at the guys house

It was a 'nice' day in the winter, and I had an itch to do something to my car. Finally came to my senses and realized I don't own a V6, so off came the stripe.

Later into the winter, I install an ebay GT500 spoiler, and a good friend of mine who is very creative made me a grill for my car using the OEM grill with the 'billet' inserts. He made custom brackets, dremeled out the honey comb, and used black plexi glass for foglight covers. Then a healthy dose of plasti-dip. For a frankengrill, I must say, it gets a TON of attention and stang owners are always asking me at meets what grill it is. It's fun to say 'custom'.

Finally in March, I got my suspension installed that was sitting in the garage all winter. Konis, steeda UL springs, panhard bar, sway bars, tower bars. I must say, out of ALL the mods I did, suspension was my favorite. Completely changed the driving experience, and for the better.

The above photos are the current look of the car. It has looked this way since the Spring. This summer, I've been doing a lot of work on the interior. Got corbeau seats, GT500 style red/black shift knob, black/red GT500 steering wheel, MGW short throw, and some other goodies. I will update with a current photo after I get the GT500 wheel installed that arrived today (from an S197forum bro :thumb:).

Shot of the seats when I first got them in:

I was able to get the deal of a lifetime on a Paxton 1200 kit in the Spring. I had every intention of installing it and even bought some additional stuff for it. However, I'm planning on being a first time home owner in the Spring. I ended up selling the kit beginning of the summer. Bummed I never got to install it, but it was serious motivation to get this house deal moving. I plan to get back to 'serious' modding next year and either go with cams/ported heads, or a blower, or both.

Hope you enjoyed the journey. I must say, it's been fun and I can't wait to continue. It's only just started for my car :evillaugh:

Perfect-o!

Thanks bro!

Dang car looks great! I want those seats!

The seats are great, they were a little project. Bought them off a member here with some serious sunfade (they literally looked purple/brown). I had them re-dyed and I still have to get one bolster repaired that has some wear. Aside from that, they look near new now. A lot of compliments on them. The OEM seats were comfy, but that cloth was less than inspiring and the seats has zero sporty-ness to them. My last two cars has OEM seats that at least had a sense of 'sports car' to them. haha

Thanks! If you look closely, you can see it was resting on the bottle... Green cloths are for the interior :)
