Looking to replace the back door light with a security light with dusk to dawn and motion features. I would also like 240 degree detection. What do you guys recommend?

We replaced the regular security floodlight in the backyard with a Defiant model. It has 270 degrees of detection with a moveable sensor and several user-definable settings. We have it set to turn on after dark when it detects motion and stay on for 5 minutes. Makes it interesting when the dogs are outside and running around...

Thanks Brandon for the reply. I will check them out.

The replacement was straightforward... no new wires required.

It has a logic in it... you can disable the settings by flipping the light switch on and off in one second.

Funny.
I always thought the gas discharge from the muzzle of a 12 ga. was plenty of security lighting.
