Ran a 7.00 index class yesterday and this is a compilation of the day.

Stock intake manifold, stock airbox, 93 octane tune, +2,300' DA.

In the finals it went a 1.49 60' and was on a pass that would have matched my 10.75 run from a year ago when I was running the Boss intake and Airaid CF CAI.

I still have a bit more work to do on the suspension with the CJ springs.

Are you going to stick with the stock intake for now?

Your front end definitely comes up more now than previous passes in years past.

Yes. I am just tinkering with this until I get a power adder on the car.

I learned a few things in the tune working on it over the weekend specifically where the car made best ET and MPH and it isn't shifting at 7,300 like has been suggested before. Same goes for converter lockup.

Also fixed the injector data which this car had been running with prior to me tuning it among other things.

Plenty of opportunity with this combo all running 93. I may stick some e85 in it and turn it up just to get a apples-to-apples comparison with my Boss setup although I bested some areas and matched others from my previous best.

I don't expect air conditions to improve again until Fall.

First, How the hell are you going that fast? Second what is your opinion on that air aid elbow?

Efficiency and working on dialing in the tune.

I have no comparison data with the Airaid elbow against the stock. Next time out I may put the stock tube back on and see if there is any difference.

Thanks gents. I haven't had the car on a scale in some time. I may get that tomorrow. If so I will post it. I am a firm believer in transparency. It had 1/4 tank of fuel in it on most of those passes.

Thanks! Once I get the suspension dialed in I expect 1.4's consistently.

Wow that is light! Nice job!

It's been a quest. Still have A/C, stereo, power windows/locks, etc. My goal is to get it down to 3K without me in it. Getting close. The ET Pro's are heavy compared to the Hoosier drag radials and will be moving back to the D.O.T. tires again at the end of the month.

It has all the safety gear needed to run 10.00 legally.
