Would it be possible for someone to alphabetize the Vendor Forums?

Sure would make it a heck of a lot easier to find the vendor you're looking for.

I believe they are listed in the order they became vendors.

Well, that was certainly helpful.

I get they may have been added in the order they became vendors, but doesn't sound like a crazy idea to try and organize and make it easy for members to scroll through them.

stkjock sure doesn't mind keeping post organized in the right sections, I didn't realize this was such a crazy suggestion for an area that looks just thrown together.

Considering your reply came across a bit condescending and short suggesting to do a "find", I think the reply was just.

I realize YOU specifically may not be able to the rearrange. Not saying this with an attitude, but I mod over on another web site and know how things work regarding change.

Feel free to delete the suggestion at this point.

how things operate on some other site have zero relevance on how they run here

The "help" was a level above suggesting I just scroll through the list.

I don't have anything against stkjock, but just saying that the Site Owner is the only one who who can make the change (which I was trying say, I understood) and it's something that probably won't be addressed...that probably would have gone over smoother than just giving me the key stroke for a "find".

Anyways, I made the suggestion...it won't be addressed...I'll move on and won't make a suggestion again.

FWIW - This site has 9000 active members, I do not know how much of a internet ninja any single member may possess, I made a suggest based on what I do to work around the chaotic way that section is set up and be simple to finding what you need. There was no suggestion for you to scroll. Your response when help was offered could have been handled much differently IMO.

I (briefly) looked, saw that there was not an automatic way to do it with vbulletin, decided I didn't care enough to put time in to it, moved on..

It has to be done manually. If Kim wants to go through all 55 sub forums under that forum section and manually adjust the display order to alphabetize them for this guy, he is more than welcome to do so.

It will NOT be changed. The order of vendors has been important to some vendors in the past and unless ALL vendors ageed to it changing, it will stay the same. Its in the order of the time they joined, so the ones at the top have supported this forum the longest.
