23 mpg is pretty freaking good, especially running 80. You must have a v6 or ecoboost because the 5.0 isn't getting that kind of mileage.

I average that on trips after my swap. Running between 75 and 80, I can usually get mid 24.xx MPG.

Passed my eTest! Took me a couple of times using the EVAP/secondary AIR soak timer reset but I got the EVAP to a ready state the other day and all but CAT ready and I was off for the test. In Ontario they allow one not ready.

In Pa we are allowed one not set. I don't usually put 5K a year on the car so I don't have to pass the emission test.

I've gotten 25.3 MPG on flat ground with a very light foot on the accelerator running 60-65 mph. After the first tank, I got into the hills and turns along the Shenandoah's and my foot started dancing on the accelerator as the undulating hills and sweeping turns began calling out the ponies from the 5.0 with the deep tones of the Borla's singing back to those smokey mount hills. The next tank wasn't totally surprising as the MPG dropped to 20.1

If memory serves me right I was getting some where just over 20 a couple years back. Then the Whipple 2.3 went on with the headers and some other mods and on the highway I get around 17+ now. But a lot more fun and not worried about the difference.

18-20 highway and about 8-9 city. I can't complain and it was worth it to me to delete the EGR.

Before the swap, I got 26mpg with cams and LT's

Finally found my vacuum leak and got the car back together. Now I have to take it in Monday and get it inspected, as it expired while I had it torn apart.

Yesterday, jacked it up in the driveway (didn't wanna start the cars to move mine into the garage since my wife was taking a nap and I would've woken her up), and replaced the rear O2 sensors and lubed up the rod ends in the Watts Link

Installed BMR LCA relocation brackets yesterday, road tested today. Why didn't I install the brackets when I installed the LCAs?? DOH! BMR's instructions are clear and thorough and they provide torque specs for all fasteners.

The brackets have eliminated the small (but very annoying) amount of wheel hop and reduced wheel spin. Even with P springs (1" drop), the LCAs were not sloped correctly (that is, up from the axle to the torque boxes). Used the middle hole in the brackets and now all is well. Great mod and pretty easy to do although getting the bolts torqued while lying on the garage floor is a bit challenging. Maybe Wheaties would help.

Last thing to do is to check the wheelbase on both sides just to confirm everything is squared up.

If you have lowered your Mustang, you really need these brackets even for daily driving. BMR rocks.
