Got mine tinted on Saturday (early father's day present). Went 20% all the way around for $160.

quick questions need answers! my appointment to get it done is tomorrow morning...
1. Has anybody heard anything about zeigart (shop in fairfax where ive got the appointment)?
2. What is the difference in plys? This shop uses 4 ply they say it helps prevent bubbling and peeling. Is this true?

I'm not retarded I know it's not wood. I know it's layers I was lookingfor input on if 4 ply is better than 2 or 3

I'm playing around with the wood comment. I guess it would be much more resistant to scratches, but it may slow down the window speed a lot I guess? I never knew there is different plys of window tint.

i asked the people there and they said it has to do with the cross pattern (i guess what gives the film its darkness). and the difference in 4 ply is that its got patterns going like: / \ -- | so you have all sorts of directions as apposed to a 2 ply tint which may only have a criss cross pattern / and \. but regardless it took them a few hours yesterday but it looks great, still waiting on all the adherent to evaporate out from between the film and window and i gotta wait till sunday to roll my windows down. i'd post a picture or two but to be honest i dunno how to post pictures on this forum haha
