It's just been reported that the Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radial Pro 275/60-15 tire P/N 3754X has passed DOT testing and will now carry the DOT STAMP required by some racing organizations. (This information was sent to me by Mickey Thompson Motorsports Manager Tom Kundrik.) Congrats to all involved!

I think these will make me pass on getting a set of 325's. I read all kinds of good things from the X275 guys about them

I wonder if they will have 19" sizing?

Unlikely. IIRC they are only 15s for now and MT doesn't make many true "race tires" in bigger then 17. They only ones bigger are the ET Street Radial IIs

Wish these would have had better availability sooner, ended up going with the Hoosiers which are lighter, but would have been fun to try the new Mickey.

Wow, crazy--don't know how that got DOT approval, but they sure do work at the track from what I have heard/seen.

Very Cool

Has anyone seen how these work on a heavy car like ours? I was planning on ordering 325's but if these work I will order these. I am currently cutting 1.45's on 295 MT DR's.

Thanks

I've had such good luck since switching to bias plys, but these sure are tempting...

+1 I'm currently running 26x11.5x17 and am getting 15s soon. I think I'll give these a go as I need a 28in tire. These being 275s should fit on a 8inch wheel just fine shouldn't they? If the x275 guys are hooking these there is no reason I shouldn't be able too. Should be a lot more stable too because my bias plies at 120 traps are scary imo

They fit best on a 15x8 wheel. I've never felt nervous on my bias plys and I trap at 120 as well.

My car is all over the place usually. I don't know if the crosswinds we usually have plays a part or not. I've tried them from 12-18psi cold in them and about the same result almost all runs.
