Anyone have a blower installed at Roush?

If JDM is the closest one I hope you read the thread in here about the issues people were having with them....

I used to work in Jersey, and when I left, swore I'd never go back. I have absolutely no reason to go up there. I met Jim when I was up there and he seemed like a straight shooter. But I just have no reason to go there.


My GT is pristine with 1200 mi, I disagree about the residual value. I think a Roush installed blower will have at least some extra interest on an ultra low mileage GT.
I still may end up just selling the car and getting a Roush or Shelby....

Back once again to my original question... How much?

sorry to tell you but the only vehicle roush ever but a 2.3L blower on and a fully forged bottom end in was the P-51A edition and the roush 540rh edition, a stage 3 roush has a stock long block with an M90. If the car is not a ROUSH built vehicle as IN it was modified by them BEFORE sale it will NOT give you any extra residual value to have them install it. Roush will give the warrenty if it is installed by any ASE certified mechanic or a race shop and only there Calibriation is used... sorry to burst the idea you have as it was a good one just not worth anything right now. i hope you dont go and get ripped off by the guys at roush who dont pay there techs anything(there facility is right next door to me). hope you are having a happy holidays and good luck with your install.

The install work is not the issue. I was wrenching on my own cars long before most S197 members were born.

I'm interested in building in some long term residual value, and not just throwing parts at the car to make it faster. If you look around, the Roush cars are holding their value better than the GT500 or SVT Cobras.

Then there's the warranty issue... It's down the toilet with a self installed blower.

You have a GT with 1200 miles. If it's an investment then keep it stock. 20 years down the road it will be worth far more if kept stock.

I believe there are are also certain Ford Dealerships which are "Roush Certified Facilities". But, I agree, try to find someone to assist in the install and save some $$

Sorry your right only 2010 (103) of them got that setup05-09 stage 3 did not come with a built block and bigger blower

I had the M90 installed on mine a few years back, but I regret not doing it myself. Save some bucks and do it yourself is my opinion.
P.S. There are a lot of haters of the M90, just ignore them, the little Roush is definately not weak!

Tom, yours is a 2010 GT not a 2010 Roush correct? If its just a GT your not gonna gain any value or whatever. Thats like saying my Polished Whipple holds or ups the value to my GT. I agree about $1500 for install. I was quoted $1500 for my Whipple at a few shops. Warranty what the Hell is a Warranty? LOL!!

just buy mine! damn! its a true roush with 11k miles, my little m90 pulls me along just fine, and like others said its next to impossible to fuck these up, if you can change plugs, oil etc.. you can install this yourself...or pay me 1500 and i'll warranty it personally for you...lol

Unless the car left Roush's facilities and was given a Roush build #, it's not going to be worth anymore than if some joe mechanic slapped the m90 on in his garage with his ass crack hanging out.

But from my recollection, I believe Roush charges around $250-275/hr.

I had a blower done by Roush in Livonia back in 2009. Out the door it was around $5850 installed. if I recall. They did a great job.

The vehicle was a 2008 Bullitt and they did Serialize it and Jack signed it while I was there. It was WAY cool.....
