So bought a set of Koni Sports (Yellows), thinking about a good spring to pair it with.

Car is agressively street driven but does see the drag strip often. Not looking to build a drag car though, just looking for something good overall.

I liked how my 2011 5.0 responded with STR.T's and K Springs (it actually cut some awesome 60's).

Thoughts? Was thinking L Springs or Steeda Sports..

(wow, glad i put it in the right section this time)

Funny, I was just thinking last night about possibly getting springs for my car. I'm not big into the visual aspect of lowering it, I prefer function over form and have several speed bumps and street gutters in my neighborhood. But I was looking at the Steeda Sports and will be interested in seeing where this thread goes.

I have the ultralites and str.t's to install. For your GT500 id go with the GT500 sports. When i spoke with Sam he said i could go either way but he prefers the yellows with sports. Wont you have to get the GT500 specific sport springs?

Most likely ya, which is why I'm also looking at the SVT L Springs, which are a 1.25" drop on the GT500.

Rates look very similar to Steeda Sports too.

I have the Sports with Tokico D Specs on my GT and really like them. My buddy just bought a Boss and is putting the sports on with stock struts/shocks. All of this was with Sam's recommendations.

Yes, sort of. That's what my buddy wanted to try first. He wanted to keep the original dampers and upgrade the springs. Sam said go with the steeda sports. I think that when it comes tins for new dampers, he will say go yellows or maybe coil overs. What are you leaning towards?

Nope, the regular Steeda Sports. He said he wasnt that impressed with the Boss specific lowering springs. I have no first hand experience with the Boss springs, Im just passing along the conversation that Sam had with my friend who has a Boss. I personally thought the Boss springs would be a good option, but I have to trust Sam. He knows his stuff.

if I'm not mistaken the Boss has the older version of the Tokico D Specs stock. I could be wrong though.

i feel like i see a lot of people pair up the Koni yellows and steeda sport springs. I might be switching from BMR springs and stock shocks and struts to Koni yellows and steeda sport myself.

Koni's arrived, got an awesome deal on them as well. Still looking at the best overall spring to pair them with though.

I was using koni sport with steeda sport springs on my 5.0 before i pulled them off and sold the car. I had no complaints what so ever, very good setup IMO. Really loved the way it rode on the street.

Just curious whats the current deal on them price wise? Or is the sell over? I plan to sell my used ones soon with 800 miles on them and dont want to rip someone off.

I paid a little over $600 shipped for these brand new.
