Well said.

Talked to insurance about the mods. They said if i replace whatever i take out with the factory parts they're cool with it. Or if they keep them i can show them receipts of aftermarket parts and get partial reimbursement. Not really worth the time to part it out. The prochargers really all i want

Just FYI, my insurance gave me "partial reimbursement" on my mods as well when they totalled my previous car. I got $100 for floormats that cost $60, but I also got $200 for rims that cost $1600 (and were in perfect condition). So take that with a grain of salt.

Totaled for sure. Sorry to see that and glad you're OK.

My vote is for a used GT500 and a blower swap.

Sorry to hear about this, cars can always be replaced. That will most likely be totaled. I'm sure they'll give you $16k or so.

I really do appreciate all the kind words of encouragement guys.
I will definately be test driving the cars I listed earlier. My #1 choice as of now is a white 5.0. JVDOOSE'S car is my inspiration.

Those of you pm'ing me about a part out- I will not be buying the car back.
Not enough parts on it. The only thing I want is the Procharger and I'll try and grab the gt500 pump and injectors to make it a complete kit.

So sad to hear. This is the car that inspired my older 2006 GT. Best of luck with the new car and yourself. Keep us updated!!

Like everyone has said cars are replaceable. Hope you dont develope and lasting pains and sounds like your doing really good. Great attitude! I had the same happen to me on cold pavement I just got lucky. Lucky the road was wide and had an emergency lane big enough for 2 cars. Car managed to come under my control again so I considered it a blessing and put the Nitto drag radials back on it even for winter. I now Granny shift the 2-3-4 in the cold. LOL Glad your OK and does take a big man to own up! Look forward to the new ride thread!

Damn man that sucks in the worst kinda way! I know what it feels like to loose it in third. Except I only found a construction sign into the middle of my passenger door. Definately build the next one for traction. As far as racing goes, spinning is loosing. Plus higher gears and taller tires will keep a strong car pulling hard a lot longer.

I'd hate to see your insurance bill....

On a serious note did you learn something?
If not getting a faster car is not a good idea.

Damn that sucks, but a new car will be fun!

I'd buy the Procharger if I had the money...

Thanks man. I'll give someone a hell of a deal on the procharger set up!

Thanks man. Really leaning towards a BMW 335i now.

295 KDWs.

Yeah i did. Read my earlier posts. It wasn't the cars fault, it was mine. I layed in it too long, plain and simple.

I don't feel bad about it, because i know i drove my car like i wanted to unlike a lot of others who will be the 1st ones to give me shit.

Glad your alright man sucks bout your car!!!

What can you pull off to sale aha??????

I don't have too many parts worth taking off. Mainly just the procharger lol.

Is the beautiful muli colored car next to yours for sale?

Haha they have an auction 1st thursday of every month, i'm sure you can snag it for a bargain!

Did this happen in Austin?

Nope, in Dallas. (Southlake)

Noooo!!! Damn man that sucks! Sorry to hear about it. Glad your ok. See...you should have kept those 20's with 295's in the rear I traded you ;)

In all reality though, time to go 5 oh!

Haha man my fenders were fked from your tire rubbing them. But i had 295s on the 18s too.

5.0 or a BMW 335i!?!
