Cam Aligment tool

I’m looking for a cam alignment tool but I have no idea what it looks like. Does anyone have a picture of it. It’s specifically for a 05 Mustang GT 4.6L

Its the middle one in the picture but i class it more as a locking tool than an alignment as the marked chain links do the alignment.

yea unfortunately the tool isnt going to "time " the cam for you,
it is a tool to bolt onto the engine block to lock the cam phaser in place so you can TTY the bolt without issue.

then theres a chain wedge tool ,,(the last pic to the right)
that just hold the chain in place if youre gonna replace a cam while the engine is still in the car...

thats the crankshaft locking tool,,
that will clock the crankshaft at the perfect position ,
so all you must align is the (R) and (L) cams..

so that one is a alignment tool as it sets the crankshaft position

As regards the crank locking tool, I bought a cheap one of those but found the crank locking tool held the crank slightly off the correct mark of 6 oclock so be careful and don't trust everything you buy on the internet. The cam locking tool is ok to buy cheap as you'll likely only ever need it once.
