Haha man my fenders were fked from your tire rubbing them. But i had 295s on the 18s too.

5.0 or a BMW 335i!?!

Hmmm tough choice you have there, I have always loved the 335i. 5.0 are good cars but hell...get a 335 and wait and see what the new stangs are going to look like.

Good point, but it's one or the other. We pay cash for our cars so once I get it I'm not trading it in or anything lol.

I'm a loyal Ford guy, but BMW's are nice rides. However, it is a great performing car all around until you are out of warranty and have to pay top $$$ for work to be done. GL on getting a new ride.

Sorry to see it man, your car was a beauty...

BMW's are kool but theres far too much douchebagedness surounding them and the interoir feels cold and german. While they do perform, they cost more to get into and the mods are also pricey, electronics go bad and drain wallets.

The Mustang community has far more genuine ppl, who have one because they are enthusiasts, not because of the high dollar status or the fact that your avg girl knows a BMW. Mustangs are just more exciting, cheaper to get into, cheaper to go as fast, stop as fast and turn as good.

If i were in your shoes, id get an 07-09 GT500, serious deals out there right now.

Either way, glad to hear your unscathed.

I drove my brothers 335d for 2 weeks and enjoyed the comfort but I may sound crazy but I'll take my mustangs interior over it. The BMW interior was so plain and boring. Although it has 420 lbs of torque, I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoy my stang. I was so happy once I stepped back behind the wheel of my mustang.

I say go for the 5.0

I would not even think of getting a BMW unless it was a new M3.

$600 tune and the 335 walks a new m3.

335i from the factory will get you more :boobies:

You know what im sayin!! lol

Haha I know exactly what your saying. That's one of the reasons I want it.

My main reason for leaning towards the BMW is change.
I drove the mustang for 4 years. That and the fact that I want to try the hella flush scene =)

I think the flush scene is boring and lame lol. I drove a supercharged 07 Audi RS4 before my stang. And it was lowered and crap, but hella flush is lame. You'll miss the v8. If you do go to something like that, get a V8 BMW or get a v8 Audi. My RS4 was amazing, miss it, but I got tboned by someone running a stop sign.

IMO hella flush is so impractical if its your dd. I don't know how Dallas is but Houston roads are rediculous. And the idea if a way too skinny tire on a rim where it has to stretch is dumb.

Yeah I don't expect a lot of you guys to like it. Believe it not I was headed that way with the mustang. Wasn't going to stretch the tire but was planning on pulling the fender and dropping it another .75" resulting in a total drop of close to 4" in back!

Roads in the area i live are really nice. I'm picking up a beater for when I move out to San Marcos for school.

WTF good are wheels like that gonna do? You'll be banging them on curbs at least once per week and in 2 months they will be trashed. The tires are supposed to be wider than the rims. There's a reason for that. Wheels like that make as much sense as the guys walking around with their pants hanging down below their ass.

Dave, I'll still be around here don't you worry babe.

That's fine. The BMW will have 450ish wheel so it's not too bad. Although a 5.0 can easily have 600 with a blower lol. I'm still not set on either but I am leaning towards the BMW...

Well said.

Talked to insurance about the mods. They said if i replace whatever i take out with the factory parts they're cool with it. Or if they keep them i can show them receipts of aftermarket parts and get partial reimbursement. Not really worth the time to part it out. The prochargers really all i want

sorry to see about your car man.
mine was almost totaled by a group of thieves with a lizard as mascot

but i spoke to them and it ended up not being totaled, but they were going to take money off my "totaled check" for the aftermarket parts on the car,

i said uhh no ill put the stock stuff back on, and they told me that im not allowed to touch the car while they have posession of it in the shop. my own friends shop.. i told them to take a walk and ill get my insurance company to go after them for the true value of the car and they ended up not totalling.
