FFW: THIS WEEKEND @ Royal Purple Raceway

Were are some local meets? I went on friday and ran a slew of 13.1s with 2.5 60' times...finally got one good launch and the car didnt take a shiiittt on me and I ran a 12.611 with a 2.0 60'... picking up tires today....That was my first trip to the track.

I busted out in the semi finals in the 12.0 index. Ran a 11.96 at 119 MPH just rolling out. Tap on breaks at end but didn't slow down enough. Tough class

Did you catch the finals in that class by chance? They ran a damn 12.001 vs a 12.007!

I'm with ya. The NMRA is looking a little slim this year, but I think FFW learned their lesson. They are a little sleeker now, more efficient. The economy is not so hot... but there is still plenty of action. UPR will be at about 20 events this year! I'm glad there is so much going on because I'm wrapping up a THREE YEAR project on one of my cars. I'm gonna race this thing as much as possible. It OWES me that!
