How well do these cars hang with the LSX powered vehicles?

We're not fucking doubting power here, it's a 5.7 it better run some pretty good times. Yeah they respond extremely well to mods and with H/C/I they can be beasts. They are still ugly, still the highlight of the trailer park, and it would be a cold day in hell when I choose an Fbody over an 05+ Mustang GT.

I have a LSX car and a coyote in the garage right now. I would put money on the LSX car if I had to race them against each other.

Then again the 5.0 made 380rwhp and the vette made 914rwhp with a bad plug wire and slipping belt. Should do 1000-1050rwhp once I get the belt issue solved.

Then again the 5.0 made 380rwhp and the vette made 914rwhp with a bad plug wire and slipping belt. Should do 1000-1050rwhp once I get the belt issue solved.

COOL STORY bro. First of all, this thread is talking about 4.6 3V vs LSx cars. Second, a supercharged 1000hp vette would beat a stock 5.0? Damn who would have known? Dumbass

Lol, I beat numerous C5's/C6's in my Z28, but I feel as if I had a "factory freak" so to speak. ran many SS's/WS6's (supposed to be "faster" than mine) and still raped them anally.

Typical f-body bs, and I have owned a few...but ls1 owners tend to be huge pricks.the cars creak and rattle, their doors sound like a 83 pontiac bonneville when you shut them, if you actually decide to race your car, you have to buy a rear end before you take it to the track, but goddamn you can do a cam, gears and full exhaust and flirt with 10's. I could give two flying fucks accompanied by a side of dont give a shit, about any of that. Id rather have a nice tight daily driver car that doesnt have road noise and rattles and shit ass gm build quality, with cracked up dash pads, bent pushrods, and all the other shit that comes with owning one.

I get more compliments from my stock looking 09 gt, than I ever got in any of my f-bodys...and they were always clean and flawless inside and out.

Theres a few things that are good nice and tight. Cars/doors/and women.

If they made the 1998 to 2002 ws6 body with todays camaro power plant, id buy it. Only reason I have a 5.0 right now is that its cheaper and better looking than the camaro right now.

Just the laughs alone was worth posting that.

I guess my point was stock for stock a LS# will beat a 3V. Once you mod all bets are off, it can go either way. You can have a 1000hp mustang or a 1000hp camaro.
