Haha trust me I know, I'm still undecided.

I'm pretty much taking this one day at a time. My strongest feeling is to build it since I pretty much have everything already. If I dont paint it that will save me a couple grand, and that way I can part everything back out to sell the car in stock form when the time comes.

You could always dipyourcar.com :)

To do a whole car it's like $200.

Seriously though, hope you continue the build. Looks like its off to a great start.

What seats are you running? I have been on the hunt for the past few months. I found a set of Cobra Imolo S seats locally but they don't come with brackets/sliders and I'm having a tough time sourcing out the correct ones for our S197's.

Well I have a pair of corbeau fx1 pros I the car right now( tight budget). But I also have a Porsche 993-911 rsr recaro horned seat that was given to me at work. That seat will become the passenger seat for my wife when she wants to ride in the car. I would use it but it is a bit on the small side. If I had more money.lol I would run sparco/recaro seats. We use scroth harnesses in all of our race cars

Does anybody know if this is the correct oil pump replacement for an n/a 3V?
http://www.modmaxracing.com/product_p/fmsm6600-e46.htm

I have to swap the heads so I picked up the new style '08 heads and while I'm there I have a few questions. Since it's going to be a basic bolt on 320rwhp n/a engine, is it absolutely necessary to use ARP head studs and Cometic head gaskets or will I be just fine using regular head bolts and head gaskets? I know it's better to be safe then sorry but were talking about an extra $600 that can possibly be used elsewhere.

Yes that is the pump you need. And you'd be wasting your money buying studs and cometics for anything under 600rwh.
