Brenspeed is a good group and Brent White is a great guy to work with really good customer skills. In the past they did alot of work for me in Indiana location they always treated me right.
I hate to say this but on the m90 you may not make the 15psi cubic inches suck boost up. Your car is going to be well though i also havent noticed if your running long tube headers, cams or cnc ported heads.
I will give a vote for the Roush tvs blower over the kbell but i had a tvs and its a great blower if i we're looking for more than 600-700 rwtq + rwhp i wouldn't go positive displacement i would then chose a centrifugal or turbo.. Especially if your trying to mix street with strip. Only my opinion and experience i have had twin screw (saleen), i have had tvs and now centrifugal and now eye balling turbo all have been on same car. There are some scenarios that each of these power adders have there advantage and me 1000's of $,s latter know the pros and cons of each. But one thing i can say is they are all good a no matter what you choose none will be a bad choice but the characteristics and benefits of each are different. So its up to U > your preferred characteristics.

Sweet! Cool car is worth some brown bag lunches.

Great point!

Awesome Timmbo, it looks amazing. Very cool that they are taking so many pics and sharing with you. They are quite the class act. Those red cam covers are too cool. I want em now myself.

JP, I believe the 15 psi was in reference to a new blower in the future not the m90.

The one picture with the motor on the stand, its sitting on the k member. Do they pull the k member when installing a new motor?

OMG guys. Don't ever fucking use Uship.com to ship a vehicle! The guy shows up two hours late this morning with this shit:

Really dude!!?? Wasn't wide enough to begin with. And I kid you not....not making this up.. just as serious as he can be to my face he tells me he can get a Sawzall to notch out the trailer body to get my car in there LOL!!! He says, "hmm, didn't know that there Mustang was too wide". Really?? You should have seen what he was pulling that POS trailer with. Probably a late 90's 4 door diesel Tahoe that looked like it may not make it the 420 miles. Really??? Can't help but laugh at his dumb ass though. He drove two hours here for nothing because he didn't do his homework. I missed a day of work so that kinda pisses me off. Then he's like "well, let me see if I can go find another trailer". I'm like fuck that. Listened to my gut told him to leave, called Uship and got a refund.

Rant off. Brent's got a guy for me with Elite Transportation that is coming Sunday to pick it up for delivery Monday morning. 40 ft enclosed gooseneck, power winch, hauled with a Dodge dually diesel.

Man...I thought Jared on Shipping Wars was a dipshit. This guy today took the cake!
I would have told the man once he pulled up, that no way was he going to take my mustang in that!!! some people shouldn't have a license to drive! this guy should be one of them..

Enjoy
Thanks. It's been down almost a month now. Can't wait to get it back!

Hell yeah! Congrats man.
Thank you.

Thanks for your input. I like instant torque so I will probably go PD. I mostly drive it for fun and I'm trying my best to stay away from the track just because of my addictive nature. Drag Racing IMO is like gambling or alcohol. And I already like alcohol too much if ya get my drift lol!! As far as PSI goes my 2.49 pullied M90 with headers, Hot Rod cams and stock heads is at 7 lbs. My realistic goal right now with this blower is low 500 RWHP. I may overdrive the crank pulley to get a little more boost if I get the itch. Won't be till 2014 till I can up the boost with a better PD kit. But in my heart I know before I do that I should install the T56 Magnum XL 6 speed first. If I don't I will snap the stock 3650 Tremec input shaft in a heartbeat with a more powerful PD system especially since I run 325/45/17 M&H drag radials. I at least wanna get some trade in value with my 26k mile 3650 trans. If I tear it up it's not worth squat. When I was mentioning 15 psi plus I wasn't referencing my M90. I was talking about other guys out there with much bigger F/I systems and their reliability issues at that level.

Congrats, final numbers?
Will know June 17th for sure.

Thanks. Yeah, Brent is really all about customer service. He's kept me up on every detail. I really just made this thread to get more info out on this B326. Aint' about me for sure. Too many guys I admire here for their sick rides. Mine is just another everyday ride compared to some of the other guys here. Hopefully this forum is still around for when I step up to a more powerful F/I system and a T56 trans. I feel so good knowing I have a great platform to really grow with and keep up with the new OEM models in the future power wise. Maybe more guys will try the B326 with larger F/I systems to where I can get some good data on what to choose in the future. Brenspeed does most all their removals and installs by dropping everything as a unit with the K member.

Awesome. They work fast.
No doubt!

Thank you. Oscar Meyer has my business now LOL.

Thanks. Painful unplanned upgrade but worth it in the long run.

FWIW I know someone who was making north of 600whp with a turbo, was launching off a wotbox on the stock 3650 on slicks, and it held. He didn't run it real long before going with a built auto but I know he was reving it up and dumping it with that much power.

Not saying a built transmission is a bad idea but honestly if it's mostly going to be on the street I wouldn't replace that until it's broken. YMMV

I didn't want to replace my 3650 but I just got tired of it getting worse and worse every time I had something done to it. Just a string of bad luck and mechanical errors resulted in me finally just getting fed up with not being able to drive my car down the track. Now I have the new T56 and haven't been to the track in 4 months.

I'd love to get some info on exactly how much more HP/TQ you get from a B326 versus a 302 stroker with the same setup. I'm kind of set on an aluminum block build but the 326 sounds like a decent alternative if I can wrap my mind around the extra 80 lbs from the iron block.

Timmbo you have your priorities right imo. Build the foundation before adding too much power. I think you will gain a decent amount of power with the motor. More than just the cubic inch increase too. The larger bore should improve airflow into the cylinder.

You may have already said it but I'll ask. What do you plan to upgrade with when the time comes? A complete upgrade or a VMP 1.9 tvs?

Have you seen "my" luck brother LOL! My wife has been so understanding in all this. I better do it right the next time!

Well I'm real curious about what the VMP 1.9 TVS will churn out so yes they are an option. I called VMP about two weeks ago and they are 4-6 weeks from availability. I believe max boost will be 15 psi. I didn't speak to Justin but another guy. Steve maybe? I asked if this would support 650 RWHP with my motor and he thought so. 650 has kind of been my goal for street at least at this stage in my itch. If that's the case I could save about 3500.00 over going with a complete 2.3 L TVS setup. As you know the VMP 1.9 is a simple head unit and CAI upgrade for us M90 guys. The only grey area is will I need to upgrade injectors from my current 39lb injectors and will my KB Boost a Pump be sufficient? I think my ultimate decision will boil down to IATs. I think if I spent the extra money and went with a 2.8 KB Mammoth and kept the boost down I wouldn't spike the high IATs that I might with the 1.9L TVS. I obviously have got quite some time before I make a decision but need to research it more. I kind of keep kicking myself in the ass for buying the M90 but at the time I had absolutely no desire for a built engine. Plus Roush was closing out the chome M90 kits for 3650.00 shipped which was a damn steal. So that said I almost at times want to overkill it with an F/I system that I know could put me at 700ish RWHP. The logic is I've got the engine now so why not get something from the start that will be the be all end all. Hence a 2.8 Mammoth. I don't know much about Whipples and how large they go for my setup. I'd be open to that as well. I'm more of a general diesel tech and not much of a "performance" guru. I'm learning as I go along. Great forum here for that.

Do your research before buying. I'd think the tvs would have lower iats than the 2.8 but it's just a guess based on the heat complaints kb owners have.

Good luck with the new motor. Keep us updated on the final results.

Ditto, the TVS1900 will generate head temps about 100 degrees lower than the M90 firecracker we both share now. IAT's are the primary reason I'm upgrading to the TVS before getting my forged motor.

I asked Justin the same question about fuel. He said that the BAP and wiring upgrade will be sufficient for this setup. I'm still on the stock pump with no fuel upgrades whatsoever and carry 39 lbs of fuel pressure all the way to redline with my M90.

Yeah it will be interesting to see what my Snow Meth injection will do for IATs on this M90 with an actual dyno session Brent is going to do with and without the meth. If it proves to tame them down I may spend a couple hundred extra to throw on a overdrive pulley if time allows and they have one in stock. Damn....I gotta quit chasin that number LOL! My thing Skwerl is how much of an edge does the 2.3L have over the 1.9L TVS and is it worth the extra 3500 or basically 7 grand total to just do the TVS 2.3L? Thing is with the B326 Brent is getting 660 RWHP with the 2.3 TVS which is just killer for street. Hell thats about 775 at the crank! I don't see how a 1.9L TVS could match that. Would I sacrifice 50 HP to save 3500 bucks and make 600 RWHP with a 1.9L? Probably. Guys help me here...for a reliable street car running 93, would you say that 660HP is about the max without going E85 or race gas? I have no interest in that.

I'm in the same boat, except I'm thinking 600hp is plenty for me. The TVS1900 is good for 15 lbs of boost. How much boost is Brent running on the 2300 to hit 660hp?

I've seen guys with $27K builds end up with only 600RWHP on pump gas (autoXracer) and I definitely do not want to run E85, so if I hit 600hp then I'll be ecstatic. This is also why I'm wanting to stick with the aluminum block and keep weight down. I can go faster with less horsepower if I'm pushing less weight.

Let me say that I started at 400 horsepower. After a month it felt slow. Spent some money hit 502 after a month that felt slow. Spent some more money 680 rwhp guess what its been a few months that as well has become slow feeling. Id say if your goal is to reach bigger numbers go with a kit that has room to grow. Its like a drug we want more we want more.

IMO over 550 rwhp with a pd blower is a handful on the street. You have a lot of options. If you want reliable higher hp that is street friendly I'd start looking at a centri or turbo. Sactown has a great deal on a Procharger F1 and there are a few D1 Prochargers in the classifieds too.

If you want to go pd I'd be looking at a dob with a 2.9 Whipple. Any of the options I mentioned will be less than the 7k you referenced. A turbo will do it too. Going with an all new setup will give you an M90 to sell and recoup some of that money. One real nice thing about a centri is that you can go with a small pulley and wastegate to control boost. This allows you fine tune the power buildup to your tastes.
