Did you get this taken care of?

Yeah I got my new x-pipe in and made my own cutout setup. Fits and works great, I located the cutouts in a nice area next to the x-pipe section. Only one problem , I hate the way it sounds.... when the exhaust was just open behind the x-pipe it sounds killer but with the cutouts open before the x it sounds like a truck or something . So I closed off the cutouts and ran 2 6 inch round stainless maganflows right behind the x-pipe and boy does it sound good now. It knocked off enough loudness so the cops wont lock me up but still sounds like a European supercar , it def doesn't sound like a mustang. The kind of sound that attaches your smile to the gas pedal.

OP, are you planning to go to a power steering rack in the future? I love this swap but do not want to put a manual steering rack in a modern car.

Still deciding if I want to go with this swap or just build a N/A 3V. Don't need another FI'd car.

Going in today to get pricing on a coyote and some other things... May be getting a PM in the future

I'm waiting for someone to do a good write up and then I'm doing the same thing.

If you don't mind share with us what kind of prices you find.

I have a write up , halfway written up , I just dont have much time when I finally get to sit down at the pc , I get a few minutes and then its crash time. If you guys have ANY questions feel free to PM me or call me (843) 2418789 ( Im Paul), glad to help any way I can. Im pretty happy with my manual rack ,mainly since its not a daily driver , I can see it getting tiresome if you DD it but for a weekend cruiser it adds the "racecar" feel. Switching to the EPAS rack would be my other choice. GOPRO is fully charged lol , Ill shoot some footage Saturday.

About another 2k or so for power steering rack and alternator...

Not cheap at all

Prob look at $12,000 or so

Nah man , 5.0 Coyote control pack kit is 1456.99 shipped from American Muscle with forum discount code
Find a low mile used coyote , add boss rotating assembly. I can get it for employee 10% over cost from ford.

For a brand new Coyote from American Racing is 5752.79 shipped with Forum Discount code
Fully forged 11.0 to 1 coyote is $7872.49 shipped from AM , they also make a low compression forged version for supercharging.

Well that's a little better. Still you would think they would have come down a little bet more.
