exhaust leak on my brand new o/r-h

The Lethal off road H pipe that I had bought (and decided not to use) had HORRIBLE welds on it too. I know JBA was making them for Lethal when they had all the issues, not sure who the new supplier is. But they need to find a new one...

Yes, that's how I found it. I could hear it but not see it since it was on top of the pipe, when I put my hand up I could feel the air blowing out and hitting me in the hand fairly hard.

Naturally it was on top. :/

I'll check mine when I get the car back this week with a mirror and a flashlight. Had my hands all over the flanges but who knows. Could've missed something.

Yes, just spoke with LP and they are sending a new one out and a return label to send the other one back, great customer service! Like I said before, I did not have any intent at all on trying to "bash" the company, hopefully nobody took it that way. It's chit chat, that's all I was doing lol. If I had a new mustang that was a lemon I'd chat just the same but you know i'd replace it with another mustang, nobody is perfect.

Its not bashing when you are just stating facts. The pipe leaked due to a weld that looks like a 10 year old did it.

If your new pipe has a garbage weld like the old one, don't put it on ... You will just end up with another leak. Send em both back and go with another brand.

Just as a habit, I've always put a little flashlight behind my exhaust stuff near the welds (headers, xpipe, mufflers).
I've never found anything bad but doesn't hurt.
Sometimes it's hard to notice things like that till it's too late.

That's good practice. I do the same with all my welds.
