Did a quick search, but didn't see anything. The vanes in my dash (A/C) vents are very loose. I can literally blow on them and they'll close. Is there anyway to tighten them up? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps put a drop or two of the weak threadlocker (blue I think) on the pivoting points?

EDIT - Or take them apart and see if you can shim something with some small washers.

Either washers - felt, plastic... or dismantle and mangle the hinge components somehow.

I had to replace most of my dash vents as the coating was peeling off. That was bloody expensive!

There is a car being completely parted out in the sale area. Check out his vents.
