Unusual way of a spark plug breaking,

Alright, here is a breakdown. I live in MI, so I store my Mustang for the winter. Last year, before I put it into storage, I got an alignment done, and the owner of the shop that I went to said he has the same model Mustang and asked me if I have ever done the spark plugs, I told him no I havent had it that long, and so forth. He told me about the common issue of them breaking. Anyway, I figured I'll try and do it myself before I start to daily it, because I figured I could handle it even if it went wrong which I was confident it probably would and if it did there was no pressure because I could still drive my winter car while it is legal. Well, 4/8 of the plugs came out just fine and the other 4 all broke the same way, where the threads separate from the porcelain and doesn't snap it at all. So I ordered the Lisle 65700 kit and used the piece where it grabs the top of the sparkplug and pulls that and the electrode out. well it worked on two of them so I can move onto the second part of extraction, but the other two did the same thing, which is pictured above.

If you cant see the top of the electrode snapped off maybe halfway down in the porclin and left the porclin completly intact. I'm not sure what the game plan is here becasue I cant use the restr of the kit and push the porclin down, because it didnt snap off. Should I take a punch and try to shadder the porclin and drill out the electrode or is there any better ideas. from all my hours of research I never came across this and can't seem to find anything relating to it.

did you do the " warm the car up and use an impact? "

i only ask because last yr i did mine and i used the impact and thank god all mine came out,

but its ok , my car got one on me ,as a spark plug just got seized in my driver side head so im replacing that this weekend

on the top of this fourm there is a spark plug broken in head topic that might help you..

worst case , is you need to remove the head to clean out the cylinder walls and possibly extract a plug or two.

hopefully someone in your boat can chime in ,
all i got is make sure the tool is, name brand and new,,
ive heard of people buying the tool second hand and it not working due to a dull or damaged edge.

I thought the pusher assembly in the lisle kit was for your specific scenario?

If that doesn’t work, then if it were me, I would try to get the porcelain out and use the puller screw to get the metal tip out.
