Tried searching abd couldn't find anything relevant.

Surely in not the only one with this condition or noticed it. Anyone have any ideas on how to pull the rear corners of the scoop down flush to the hood surface?

Actually it doesn't appear any of the fasteners are in the rear corner area that is lifting (back of the hood by the washer nozzles)

I'm thinking I can maybe use the really strong 3M adhesive foam, or maybe a couple aluminum rivets in those corners to hold it down. The hood is aluminum right?

I have two friends with that hood scoop. They both lift, they get them "fixed" by the dealer, and it does it again a few months later. One has since had it removed and the hood filled and painted...

In the first pic, isn't that a bolt you see? Or was it a shadow? In the last pic, what is the bolt for?

At the least, it looks like the foam tape isn't sticking any more. Peel the scoop off, clean the tap, and apply new. Or better, like five-oh's friend, delete it.

It's a shadow in the first pic. The foam looks to be just for paint protection not adhering. The rear of the scoop that's lifting is at the rear of the hood, by the washer nozzle, no bolt there.

The problem is they are made of two different materials which expand at different rates. Mine does the same thing. I used 3M adhesion promoter which is really strong.
