Another issue just change the fuel pump and now it’s leaking. I tried to fill it up and it just spilled everywhere does anyone know what could of happened

Either the filler neck seal is leaking or the o ring at the pump is leaking. Should be able to see a gasoline stain coming off the tank.

I think I found my problem I didn’t put the locking ring all the way

That will cause the Pump O ring to leak

My fuel gage is still wrong would that be the problem as well that’s why I replaced the fuel pump casue randomly it would go down to empty when I know I had a full tank
