Do you have the hub centric rings for the rims. If not then that is your problem. You need the hub centric rings to line the rim up properly on your hub.

I also found with their lug nuts, the threads got plated too and were real tight going on so I chased all my lug nuts up with a 1/2-20 tap prior to putting them on. I have not had any issues since.

I also put in the three inch wheel studs. They do make a difference too.

What is a hub centric ring? I have a set of Greg Weld wheels that I bought from Nickoli and I tried to put them on yesterday and they were a pain to line up and what lugnuts I got to go on would not torque.

problem is the washers are offset, best way to get them on with no issues is always run the lug in at the lowest point, then spin the wheel and repeat til all five are snugged, use a deepwell socket and push it all the way in so that the washer is lined up in its groove. it does take an extra min to do so but its not as hard as your making it out to be, if you have bent studs its because you did it wrong, if the washer isn't in the proper location then it will tighten down all wrong

Reading this is really making wish I just bought a set of Bogarts. I hate hassles. I bought a set of Racestars at NMRA and they're sitting in my garage in boxes. After hearing about the possibility of bending studs and what not, I don't know if I even want o mount the tires on them...

Just make sure you have centering rings on then, general consensus seems to be that was the OP's problem
