You MIGHT not be able to make it through a 1/4 in 4th, no experience first hand though. I run 3.73s and I need a **** hair more gear, maybe a 3.90 or a 4.10.

too much gear unless you running a 28.5in tire or better. you should run over 120mph with a 100shot , with a 28in tire it would be over 6600rpm. IMO

I have gone to the quarter only a hand full of times I do prefer the 1/8th, at this time I am running a 26x11.5-17 but am about ti get 15's and get taller rolling stock for them. I know the car will love the gears on a motor pass but I like to spray from start to finish. So I guess I would be the first to atempt this on these cars.

4.30 and 28" tall tire is great for a nitrous combo.....

I have times on this setup, but don't want to post them up just yet...I am still playing with a few other combo's and will be starting a build thread soon...

I am running 373`s with a 100 shot and 27 inch tire. I am not sure if that is good or not also. I think that is just way to much gear.

6500 rpm dumps spraying out of the hole is pretty violent as i am lifting the wheels 6 to 8 inches off the ground and carrying them about 10 feet on stock wheels and tires in the front.

What gears do you have now?
What are the RPM`S at when you are going through the traps?

So your hitting the nitrous right out of the gate with a 28 inch tall tire and it boggs with 4.10s . Whats your 60ft with the 26 tall tire and 4.10s out the gate on spray?

Is your motor stock with stock heads? If so why would you shift at 6500 rpms , its not making any power up there and your buzzing the motor pretty high so harmonics can hurt your oil pump.

yes i bogged with 28s and 4.10s i dont bog with 26s and 4.10s. I have a stock long block with cams and shift at 6200. I dump the clutch at 6500 rpms i dont shift at that. 1.5s is my 60fts all day long.
