It's probably the known problem the 2011's are having with their clutches. I doubt it was the drivers fault.

From what I have read the Clutch on the 2011 5.0 is NOT-Holding-Up

Yes you are right...I will edit that.

hey man no problem i just wanted to make sure because i told my dealer that my clutch pedal stayed in the floor one time and they told me that if the car was running good and they can not duplicate the problem then they couldn't do anything. I was about to run back there.LOL

Are you sure it wasn't a clutch sticking issue and not the clutch being completely gone?

not sure. I was in the light then i launched at 6,800 rpm and when i try to shift into 2 gear the pedal went limp and stayed down for 1 or 2 seconds then i shift normal..

I was talking about the guy he raced.

Pedal not returning, no pedal=no clutch, doesn't really matter why, when you at the drags, what matters was his night was over, he tried several more times with the same results, and while he did out trap my car, he didn't out ET it... I was very impressed with that 11, basic 3 mods and trapping 112 mph at our track is very impressive that's like a 117mph at sea level, corrected DA was 4955...

I am still on the stock clutch with the 550 hp whipple HO kit, 1 year and 10k later. It has never slipped.

i am under the impression that maybe some people are slipping the clutch too much and then it burns out. I did had a minor problem with mine and it was for a split second but its been working as normal after that. I might just have the clutch assembly problem for now. I mention these because i rev my engine up around 6,500 some times 7K and dump the clutch then i shift with the gas pedal down at all times so i just use the clutch very quickly in and out just enough to hook the gear.
