I guess you have to have the patience and foresight, and money to pull it off. There was an article a year or so ago (I think in Mustang Monthly) of a guy who had a 1969 Mustang Mach1 that was STILL in dealer plastic. That was one of the most impressive ones I've ever seen. Its easy to sit here now and say that "Oh yeah, a '69 would be worth a lot". However in 1969, the mustang name was only 4.5 years old, who the hell could have known it'd be going strong today with a HUGE following on almost every generation of it. Craziness!

(I'll see if I can dig up the pictures from that article - the car was like a time capsule)

Nice....but that sticky paper is hard enough to get off on brand new cars.....let alone on something that's 10 years old......and +2 on draining the fluids!

Hope it's climate controlled in that garage too

I don't see the big deal on the fluids. It clearly states it's in a climate controlled area. I'd definitely drain them prior to moving it, but I can't imaging them breaking down that much just sitting there.

I would drive the hell out of it on the street and track the fuck out of it every opportunity I got. It's a car and ment to be driven hell that is a race car with a license plate. Go ahead call me dumb or what ever but at the end of the day it's still a car and there are better investments to be had.

Especially sitting through the 70's and early 80's when people couldn't give them away...
