30 K scheduled checkup

My mustang is about due for its 30,000 mile check-up. Any recommended service centers in San Diego or is the dealership my best bet? Thanks.

There is a shop in Escondido called #1 Stop Shop, 231 Vinewood Street, Escondido, CA 92029, (760) 480-0901. Talk to Ben, the owner. I've been going to him for about 15 years. He is an honest, good guy. Tell him I sent you.

The last place I let touch my car is a dealership...

It's a long story... haha... but simply put, a collapsed cat was more than a couple rods could handle.

Don, did you have #1 stop shop do you your 30K scheduled checkup? If so how much was it. They quoted me $525 which seems a little expensive.

LOL... I had a whole new motor at 17K. In fact, the only things still stock in the entire power train were the cams, throttle body and fuel rails. So, there is no need for any regular checkups... I maintain mine constantly.

All I can say about Ben at #1 Stop Shop is that he has worked on all my cars (except the Mustang), and all my family's cars for the past 16 years. I trust him. He does good work and stands behind it.
