Haha well I'm not a sud aficionado, I just want something that will get the job done well, this is hand washed and sprayed off with a hose usually (sometimes I can get access to a pressure washer)...Have you ever used that stuff? I know you're cars black but seeing how it's so clean it's like having a mirror with a v-8, your opinion is pretty valued lol

How does this compare to the DP Xtreme?

Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

I like it better. I feel you have to use less to get the same effect. Both are good products, but I'll stick to the CG stuff.

I've really only tried a sample of the DP stuff, so I'm really not an expert on the product, though.

I use he CG Maxi-Suds in my bucket and my high pressure foam gun and my little garden hose foam gun (Foammaster II)
It works great either way and I have had very good luck with it. It's far superior than any off the shelf stuff I've ever tried for sure.

Awesome, I'm looking at getting the maxi suds, some sonax wheel cleaner, and I'd like to know what is a good quick detail spray?

Also, I have a hard time keeping the lower black plastic (I have a 2010) area clean, could I get by using some meguiers plastic-x or do I need something more substantial?

I've tried a hell of a lot of detail sprays. I have to dust my car off with them a lot living in the country. I've found that Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax is the best I've tried so far.

Optimum is a great bang for the buck, too. But I think the Meg's UQW works better in the sun.

Ultimate Quick Detailer will streak way worse on a hot car than the UQW will.

As far as the plastic goes, are you just trying to clean it? Have you tried Plexus?

Plexus is my favorite product of all time. I use it on any plastic parts. It's the shit on a stick. I just ordered some more, but I've been a long time Plexus fanatic.

It does wonders on bugs on your front end. It works great cleaning your lights and actually prevents headlights from yellowing, too. I even use it to quick detail any type of wheel.

Buy some, if you don't like it for the molding, you will for sure find a dozen uses for it. It's about $20 a can and worth every penny. You can find it at most Motorcycle shops or online

If anyone comes across a discount/sale for Autogeek or a similar site, post it up as I have another list of things to order.

^^^^ I received a sample of the WG leather conditioner. I really liked it. I used a foam pad to apply and it left a nice matte finish.
