I'm about to put a ducktail spoiler on my car...I think when I take teh stocker off, I'm going to try and paint on the spoiler and see how easily it comes off.

Has anyone painted on actual painted surfaces and tried taking it off?

I'd love to do teh rear deck panel since my 3M taped piece flew off and then I'd like to do some sort of stripe in the front like the Roush or something...

Me and a buddy of mine got carried away and plastied shit all over his wifes civic. We did it directly on the paint and it is still there. Was done probly a month ago.

I just Plasti'd my stock chrome pony (black) on the front grille. Damn I wish I did this to my other emblems, instead of wasting time to take them off prep/prime/paint! This stuff is really great.

Yeah that guy had the multi-colored truck and plastied it because he couldn't afford his paint job yet. I was thinking of trying this on my rims and painting them gunmetal to see what they would look like before I get them powdercoated.

So it'll pressure wash right off but rocks and what not won't chip it off? So I guess touchless car washes are a no no with this stuff? Or is that not enough direct pressure?

It'll chip off about as fast as the rubber on your tire will chip off. It just doesn't work that way like actual paint. For being plastic...it is very strong however. I did my friends side steps on his truck that posted earlier and he went off roading, game over. It peeled off instantly. It cant take abuse but it can washing....hand washing. Best way to find out..is to try it.
