I couldn't find those nuts at the ford dealer. I just used regular 10mm nuts with the same thread size with flat washers. I paid $30 for one 2 years ago.
I had a tensioner that was leaking bad and it made the chain loose and broke it's cam chain guide on the right side at 75k miles. So I installed the frpp camshaft drive kit and haven't had any problems since. MMR only has a aluminum tensioner arms not chain guides I think.
I know what you mean,it would have been great to rent those tools somewhere . I also bought and still waiting for a used inner tie rod remover installer for $27.cad on eBay.
Bought the Ford Rotunda OTC tool kit on eBay for $230.us to remove and replace the rear crankshaft oil seal and slinger on my 05 GT when replacing the clutch. I did not want to fuck up that seal and so far so good.
