    Gen 2 motor swapped s197

i cannot help with the ABS, mine was a 2007 v6 and did not start with ABS. As for the AC, I bypassed the PBH ECU and went straight to the AC compressor via relay. I also have a relay for cooling low fan and one for cooling high fan. The PHB EC controls the high speed and the AC controls the...

05 to 09 coyote generation 2 swap! Guide and help tips

For the fuel system, I really wanted to stay away from a return style system. I kept the 2007 V6 fuel lines from the tank to the coyote fuel rail, with an increased capacity fuel pump. I realize you will need a new fuel line for more fuel. I am using a vaporworx module with a fuel pressure...

05 to 09 coyote generation 2 swap! Guide and help tips

Sorry for the long reply delay. On the AC, no I do not have a problem with it bogging down when the AC kicks on. I did have a problem with burning up relays for some reason. The ECU is from PBH so it only has one command out for the fan, and that use to be the only relay I had for the fan...

05 to 09 coyote generation 2 swap! Guide and help tips

I am about to do this with an Arduino so that I can clean up the TACH signal from the coyote PCM to the 2007 cluster. It is intermittent at times and I believe reformatting the signal to 2007 CAN bus packets will do the trick. BTW, also Texas and just now got the A/C working. Bypassed the PCM...

Episode 2: I talked to the shop owner, twice. He denies even having those nickel plated wire crimp connectors in his shop. However, I have proof they had them while they were working on my car. I was hoping he would file an insurance claim, but I am anticipating this going to small claims court...

I am going to start with having a discussion with the shop owner and present him the evidence and go from there. It all hinges on his attitude towards a resolution. I just want to be covered on the replacement engine and labor costs to swap. As for the car, LKQ Online with a 2014 Coyote.

The motor was pulled from a totaled start & run 2011 Mustang, by the shop. They also did the 2018 intake swap. So the only ones to have access to the out of the box intake was that shop. including they fired one employee that was working on it. Unfortunately, it all points to them. And there is...

I can guess how they got there. The damn shop that did the coyote swap. I'm betting a disgruntled employee left a handful in the intake, or more innocently, they had the throttle body off the intake while they were doing some of the wire splicing. The most reasonable explanation is the first one.

Can anyone ID this thing? Looks like pieces of a bearing. has "16-14" marked do it. I pulled about 5 of these out of a 2018 Coyote intake and I'm pretty sure I now have at least one in my cylinder. A bore scope is going to determine the damage.
