I have a 2007 gt mustang, I got the car stupid cheap cause the motor was blown had over 230k miles on it. I all ready rebuilt this gen 2 coyote with the intention to swap it into the car. I got a PBH gen 2 control pack. All the essential hosing and fuel items. The control pack diagram says to just tap a couple wires in, one being the fuel pump, one being the fan, clutch pedal and key. Ive read over a couple of forms and post on this site for how people are running a/c systems and abs with the control pack. I know i shouldve swapped the gen 2 intake cams and sprockets with gen 1 and just used the gen 1 control pack cause it just works. Ive seen people on here say theyve gotten the gen 2 control pack to work with some of the stock systems. Some say they run two pcms. Some just get them to work with not much details. Can anyone people give me some insight on how to get ABS, to work. Speedo i have a dakota Digital pack to wire in for it, And how they wire the fuel pump stuff up! i would love some assistance to get this thing running well!!!

i cannot help with the ABS, mine was a 2007 v6 and did not start with ABS.

As for the AC, I bypassed the PBH ECU and went straight to the AC compressor via relay. I also have a relay for cooling low fan and one for cooling high fan. The PHB EC controls the high speed and the AC controls the low speed. I had custom lines made to go from the 2007 AC lines to the compressor & condenser. I found a great shop locally that did the lines and the wiring.

I do not have any issues with my speed-o-meter, just my tach, it is intermittent. Yet, I know what is causing it and how to fix it, thanks to Justin Bonsell in this forum. He also reported an issue with his speed-o-meter. It is most likely an ABS issue. Without ABS, I have no issues.

As for the fuel, I use a vaporworx module. I added a fuel pressure sensor to a NOS adapter to the end of the coyote fuel rail.

disclaimer, I started this project back in 2020, about 9 months too early for Matt James wiring harness, so my solutions might be outdated with his harness.

Is yours also a gen2 ecu? Cause with the control pack my gauge cluster is practically just a fuel gauge. Did you EPAS convert aswell? I did cause I can’t stand backwards alternators. I wired in the CAN lines and everything based off wore everything’s instructions but I have no power steering still. You think I maybe need a seperate EPAS controller?

mine is a gen 1 PBH ecu. We swapped the front suspension, including the K-member, transmission and rear end from the donor 2011, so I have EPAS.

Yeah Gen 1 ECUs just work with most of the components from an early s197 gen 2s don’t due to Gen 1 being 3 connector Gen 2 being two.
