Camber plate issue... Car on lift.. HELP

More details might help get you get some input. I've had CC plate installation issues caused by the springs, in my case the top pigtail of the spring did not continue in a upward spiral putting pressure on only one side of the plate when decompressed. The solution was a wall mount spring...

When assembled however the angle of the top coil the mount is seated in never changes. The strut shaft goes through the camber plate angling the spherical bearing off center putting pressure on only one side of the mount as seen in the assembly photograph. If installed to vehicle this way I'm...

So to summarize what I've learned in regards to the MM r&t Box, most feel that with its heavy spring rates, and spherical bearings, this kits is to radical for street use. Although every one agrees MM components are high quality, most feel if building a dedicated track car more advanced...

Yeah that's my take. The company behind the springs is of the opinion installation error is to blame. Anyways, the hunt for a suitable spring continues.

No, that's all torqued down to the proper spec. Not pretty is it, the two parts don't want to play nice with each other.

csamsh I pulled the trigger on MM plates, there sitting on the work bench. would have preferred the Vorshlag plates but lead time was unknown when I wanted to make the purchase. If I'm not mistaken both sets use the factory bearing/spring perch?

B2B I imagine you ended up with coilovers?

Mark Yeah not really thrilled with the factory bearing/spring perch myself. Seems like the weak link in the front suspension, I just cant justify coilovers. Just want my car to be a extremely good handling street car, which validates csamsh point against spherical bearings for daily driven...

Kelly Yeah the issue I'm having isn't with the camber plates, its actually with the springs. the factory spring perches used with the camber plates when inserted into the top coil of the spring causes the camber plates to sit at roughly 20 degree angle relative to the strut shaft installed...

Kelly, Those are definitely really nice rear components and will more than likely take you up on them. How do your handling springs compare to the MM r&t springs, and have you had issues running them with MM camber plates. Reason I ask is I'm having issues with Steeda sports and MM plates...
