I have a dumb wiring question. I'm hooking up my wideband and am wondering where the easiest place to find a acc wire. Basically a wire that only has power when the key is on
I could figure this out if I had more time but with a new born I'm short of time. Please help
If you can let me...
Mcard took care of me and I like the piece of mind that the locks give me. I would agree I'm more likely to have my car stolen but piece of mind is worth something.
Also agree who steals rims these days
I decided to call Mcgard wheel locks and sent them my pictures. For FREE they are sending me a replacement set and a replacement key. Also they sent me a tool to remove the broken lock without damaging my wheel stud. All they asked is that I sent the tool back and the broken lock. They are...
I tried the hammering a socket and due to the new odd shape it's in between sizes. Hard to tell from the picture but half the nut broke off.
I will try again. It may be my only option
I do not think I can get worse luck. Finally get my car running the way I want which is awesome. All I needed to do to finish my built was mount my boost gauge and wide band air fuel gauge. I ask you all how to run the wires through the fire wall. So easy enough take off the tire...
Guys, now that the car is producing boost I want to properly run the guage pod with the boost gauge and air temp.
The issue is I have run a coat hanger through every gromet under the hood and the hanger gets caught up in the fire hall every time.
Where did you all run your wires and boost...
So last night I did a test of pulling off the vacuum line opening the BPV valve plugging the vacuum port with my fingure. IT should stay open I am told. Mine slammed shut meaning the float is not opperating fully???
Kenne Bell is sending me a new one either way so my figures are crossed
Yes I've done 4 pulls. Getting into 4th gear 5000 rpm I hit 3 ish psi of boost so a long way from the 10 I should be getting. The tune is loaded correctly and the insta pump is working, or so I'm told. Kenne bell says that is way it's falling on its face. Too much fuel and no boost to support it...
So talking to Kenne Bell today they do not think there is a vac leak since I am getting so much vacuum. I will be running a couple tests and will report back. I hope to solve this sucker....
Also a side note I have not mentioned is the car falls on it's face at 2000 rpm. Kenne Bell thinks...
