Same here. I installed mine in my garage with car on jack stands. I watched some YouTube videos beforehand just I’d have an idea of the best process. It’s not bad at all. Probably took me an hour give or take once I had it up on the stands.

I just put the Ford Racing one piece aluminum on mine. Made a huge difference. My stocker had 150k miles. So much smoother clutch engagement and no clunking.

My rear lower control arm bushings have started squeaking. I suspected that was the source of the squeak so I forced some grease in around the bushings and the noise stopped. Mine are done for so I’m going to replace them. Just thought this might help you. Mine have 140k miles on them.

So I pulled the alternator and cleaned all the mounting points. I used my dremel to get all surfaces shiny including the connection for the wire connected to the alternator that goes to the battery. Everything seems ok. I still get a small dip in rpms when the fan kicks on but it’s not nearly...
I cleaned both battery posts and three grounds in the engine bay. Seems to have helped a little. The surge is about 100 less rpms both ways. I’ve looked around and don’t see any other obvious grounds. Any particular place I should look for more?
I think I’ll also get the battery load tested...
