I will almost bet it is the shift shaft seal. Just went through this myself. I changed the output seal and it kept leaking. Finally changed the shift shaft seal and it fixed it. You will need a good pick and patience to remove it. Use a socket to put it back on. And Ford couldn't get one...
Anybody know if you are supposed to up the amperage of the fuel pump fuse when you install this? I know on a kb BAP you do but the instructions don’t say a word about it for the vortech.

Just getting conflicting opinions on this. Was told by Mcleod to compress the slave and do the measurements. And Everyone else says to leave it be. I am going to try with the spacers I have and see what happens measuring with it left alone after all Mcleod did tell me no need for a shim to begin...
So I got 3 3/8 and 2 5/8= 3/4 So I would need a 1/4 spacer to make it 1 inch correct? Also when the pressure plate is torqued the fingers set down in the pressure plate so you can't get a straight edge on them. Does that sound right?
Yea that may do it lol. One last question. When I measure the preload do I compress the tob until it bottoms out to measure from it to the bellhousing? I read on one post to remove the spring so it will bottom out???
