    stand alone engine harness questions V8 GT.

    Thank you for the replies. First off the new engine is fuel injected and runs off its own computer and harness,so no carbs here. Second,Is it possible to leave the s197 computer in the car to run all the required electrical devices and have my stand alone computer run only my engine?

    I am wanting to install my custom engine in my 05 GT.It uses it's own Engine Harness and P.C.M.Using the Ford P.C.M and harness is not an option as the new engine is not a 3 valve engine.It will be attatched to a Tremec manual transmission. I am wondering how to keep everthing working on the car...
