Any roofing gurus out there? I have a few questions.

You just might have it... You could let the insurance adjuster decide whether they cover it or not. I didn't think mine would get covered but it took them less than ten minutes to decide they would. Saved me 10G. I'm sure lots of substandard work gets covered by insurance, electrical fires...

Any roofing gurus out there? I have a few questions.

I'm not a roof guru but shingling over a poorly installed roof just doesn't seem like a good idea. When the homeowners insurance company had mine replaced they paid for a tear off of the original shingles. House was 20 yrs old at the time. Homeowners insurance wont cover it? You have wind...

    Problem with car running

I didnt explain my thoughts well. With the computer being susceptible to voltage changes, a weak battery could have low voltage or cause the alternator to surge trying to bring it up charge something like that causing problems with the computer.

    Problem with car running

Original battery? Mine went bad a couple of months ago. With the way tunes fail to load if the battery is low on these cars and how disconnecting the battery seems to have fixed it, I would check the battery.

    Broken block? Check this out

The egging of the bores, is that from power made in the bore or the stress on the block from the power transfer of the engine to chassis/driveline?

    John Lund Tune and now...

Charging light and airbag could be a sign of the battery going bad. I had the airbag light on because of a weak battery. Had to replace the battery. Check the battery connection and get the battery tested.

    Wheel lock dilemma...lost key...

It works on those, the cheap socket stretches over the lock a bit and cuts into it a little bit. You need a socket that is just a little smaller than the lock, but big enough that it wont spilt when you hammer it on.

    Wheel lock dilemma...lost key...

I've used the cheap socket trick on the old McGard locking lugs. Heard of using an air chisel to spin them off but never tried it. Put the chisel in the groove and hammer counter clockwise on the lug. You could try welding a nut on the end of the lugs if you can get to them. Clean up the rust...

Somethings killing my power and times any ideas?

Not discounting a Tq Mgmt issue, wheel hop means that tires are not on the ground 100% of the time and as such they are not driving the car forward. This would result in a loss of accelleration, which could be felt as a loss of power.

Or paint the trailer wheels black in the center and silver on the outside to match teh wheels on the car until you can caps or nicer wheels.

Renovating a race car trailer on a budget

I bet 20 mins with a drill and wire wheel and some spray paint that winch would look just fine.

Renovating a race car trailer on a budget

Congrats on the killer deal on the trailer. A buddy and I talk about this all of this time, how lazy people are that they wont clean up their stuff before they sell it. An afternoon with a wire brush on a drill and a few rattle cans of paint would probably have gotten the guy another $500...

    smoking 11

Did you just change the oil, or add some? My 11 will do this if the oil is past halway in the "good" zone on the dipstick. It did stock and after the blower. I could never find a source for the smell either, no obvious leaks or smoke pouring out just the oil smell.
